Board Game Therapy

What is Board Game Therapy?

Board Games are valuable tools in developing socialisation skills, promoting self confidence and providing opportunities for healthy and open conflict resolution.

Along with myriads of other educational benefits, they can also provide a safe space for people to have fun and experience personal growth at the same time.

Well designed games provide mental stimulation and opportunities for development and maintenance of motor skills.

They are effective with all ages and some games are even designed specifically as therapy tools for children and adults.

Events and Training

At Uncivilian we’ve been partnering with GamesBond in training volunteers to be board game facilitators and also participating in the voluntary program organised in conjunction with Caritas.
